Miami International Autodrome
Making use of the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium car park, the venue was created to host Formula 1 races in 2022 - replete with a fake harbour and extortionate ticket prices.
However, when F1 is not there, elements of this venue are used as public roads and access points.
Earlier this year, however, four new alternative layouts, which are shorter, were created. This enables year-round track use. iRacing is actively developing the venue, and its published preview image seemingly highlights one of these additional layouts.
Portland International Raceway
This diminutive Oregon venue isn’t perhaps best known for its most exciting races - overtaking seems to be at a premium. But, it does host IndyCar, NASCAR Xfinity Series and even the four-wheeled peloton that is Formula E.
Inside the circuit confines is a motocross track - we suspect you won’t be able to ride around it in iRacing…
Adelaide ‘Parklands’
This Australian street circuit used to hold Formula 1 one races - Mika Häkkinen’s death-defying shunt in 1995 and Nigel Manselll’s final win - but in later years, it is home to the ‘Adelaide 500’ event, part of the Supercars championship.
Fittingly, the current Gen3 Supercars have recently been created for iRacing, so the vehicles are ready to recreate the event, but the track is missing. We don’t know when it will be released, but it is confirmed as being in development.
Circuit Ricardo Tormo
The Spanish venue, also known simply as ‘Valencia’ was confirmed in August 2024 as having a contract to be available for iRacing.
It’s perhaps best known for hosting championship-deciding MotoGP races, but it is used for four-wheeled events too. Already in Assetto Corsa Competizione, it was recently the real-world venue for the FIA Motorsport Games event.
Another venue that isn’t known for easy overtaking opportunities, it is however a well-respected circuit.
The Bend Motorsport Park
Another Australian venue, iRacing not only confirmed its development but has also shared images of the team visiting the southern circuit to capture data.
A relatively new-build track, it opened in 2018 with multiple layout options - the longest is 4.82 miles long with a staggering 35 corners. Shorter versions are mercifully also available.
Much like Adelaide, the Supercars championship races here, but so too do most of the nation’s top motorsport series, from TCR to GT3s. There are even drag and drift racing tracks within the compound.
